THE TRANSFORMATION HAS BEGUN!

In 2025, COTA delivered on its commitment to Central Ohio by expanding service and connecting more riders than ever before.

Thanks to community support for LinkUS, a voter-approved investment that will expand transit service by 45 percent over the next two decades, we rolled out meaningful improvements in 2025: better on-time performance, more weekend service, expanded late-night hours and increased frequency on major routes. The result: ridership climbed nearly 5% compared to 2024.

The transformation continues in 2026 by advancing plans on the West Broad Street Bus Rapid Transit corridor, a new bus line connecting suburban communities to The Ohio State University and $51 million approved for sidewalk, bikeway and trail projects across the region.

None of this progress would be possible without COTA’s over 1,200 dedicated employees, whose commitment will carry this transformation for decades to come.
