Major Downtown Reroutes and Stop Changes due Columbus Marathon
Central Ohio Transit Authority customers should expect major delays and reroutes in conjunction with the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Columbus Marathon this weekend. Reroutes will begin Friday, Oct. 18, and will last through the afternoon of Sunday, Oct. 20.
All downtown stops will be closed beginning at 4 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 20.
The official start time of the race on Sunday, Oct. 20 is 7:30 a.m. However, reroutes will begin at the start of COTA service and run through mid-afternoon. Lines 1, 2, 2L, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 22, 31, CBUS, CMAX and AirConnect will be affected.
This event will impact as many as 500 stops. Here is a list of all closed stops.
Lines 71, 72 and 73 will be rerouted on Friday, Oct. 18, beginning around 10:00 a.m.
Lines 10 and 12 will be rerouted on Saturday, Oct. 19, beginning around 10:00 a.m.
During Phase 1 of reroutes, Line 12 WILL NOT BE OPERATING
