COTA Announces May Service Change Will Begin Monday
The Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) will launch its latest service change on Monday, May 1, 2023. Timetables for each transit line are available online at COTA.com.
COTA will make frequency adjustments on the following transit lines:
1 Kenny/Livingston
2 E. Main/N. High
8 Karl/S. High/Parsons
10 E. Broad/W. Broad
22 OSU/Rickenbacker
CMAX
COTA will make schedule adjustments to the following lines:
5 W. Fifth Ave./Refugee
CMAX
Route changes will be implemented for the following lines:
12 McKinley/Fields
61 Grove City
102 Polaris Pkwy/N. High
COTA is also introducing all-day downtown line-ups every Sunday. This will allow customers to make easy transfers between buses without a long wait time. Details on all-day Sunday line-ups can be viewed by each transit line at COTA.com/servicechanges
Zoo Bus will also return for customers this summer. Zoo Bus is a popular summer transit service at COTA and an easy way to travel between downtown Columbus and the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium and Zoombezi Bay. Service begins Saturday, May 6 and will continue every weekend in May. Beginning Memorial Day, Zoo Bus will run 7 days a week through Labor Day.
COTA makes changes to its service three times a year, on the first Monday of January, May and September. Changes include schedule adjustments to improve travel times, modified service, as well as construction-related route changes.
