Major Reroutes and Delays Expected for Susan G Komen Race for the Cure and Girls on the Run 5K this Weekend

Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) customers should expect delays and reroutes this weekend as thousands participate in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure this Saturday, May 18 and Girls on the Run Central Ohio 5K Sunday, May 19 in downtown Columbus.

On Saturday morning, the race will reroute Lines 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 10, 11, 12, 102, CMAX and Zoo Bus in the downtown area beginning at 5 a.m. This will close many transit lines on North and South High Streets, Rich Street, Town Street, West Broad Street, Long Street, and Nationwide Boulevard. Customers should expect significant delays until approximately noon on Saturday.

On Sunday, the Girls on the Run Central Ohio 5K will also reroute Lines 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 10, 11, 12, 102, CMAX, and Zoo Bus in the downtown area beginning at 5 a.m. While this does not impact North High Street, reroutes on Spring, Long, Front, and West Broad Streets will cause significant delays until noon.
