Service Changes
Service changes may include modifications to frequency, schedules, trip times, routing or stop locations. COTA modifies service three times per year on the first Monday of January, May and September.

SUMMARY OF CHANGES & FUTURE SCHEDULE BROCHURES
The following changes will take place on Monday, January 6, 2025. To view future alignment changes, Sunday & late night lineups, and schedule brochures, click the links under each Line’s summary.
New Late Night & Sunday Line-up Locations
Due to conversion of N Front Street to two-way traffic, some Late Night & Sunday Line-up locations will change in January 2025. View the future Late Night & Sunday Line-up location map at the link below. Please note that due to construction, the N High & E Long St bus stop (ID 5910) is temporarily closed. A temporary stop location for the closed N High & E Long Street bus stop is available about 1 block north on N High Street near E Spring Street.
Late Night & Sunday Line-up Map Effective January 6, 2025
3 Northwest/Harrisburg
Line 3 will use a new southbound route through downtown Columbus. From Nationwide and N Front Street, the bus will turn right to head south on Front Street, make a stop at a new location at N. Front St. and W. Lafayette St., then turn left on Long St. to continue along its regular route. Line 3 will continue to use the same late-night stop at E. Long St. & N. High St.
No changes will be made to the northbound Line 3 route.

4 Indianola/Lockbourne
Line 4 will use a new southbound route through downtown Columbus. From N 3rd Street the bus will turn right on Spring Street, and then left on Front Street to continue along the regular route. Stop 3142 at W Spring and N Front will no longer be served. A new Line 4 stop will be available on N Front Street at W Long Street (ID 8215). The new southbound Late Night & Sunday Line-up location will be the new N Front St and W Long St stop.
No changes will be made to the northbound Line 4 route through downtown.

7 MT Vernon
Line 7 will use a new southbound route through downtown Columbus. From Spring St, the bus will turn left onto N Front St. This line will make a new stop at N Front St & W Long St. No changes will be made to the northbound Line 7 route through downtown Columbus. Line 7 northbound will serve the same late night location at the Spring St Terminal, Bay 3. The E Spring St & N High St stop is not shown because it is closed during construction.

8 Karl/ S High/Parsons
Line 8 will have a new southbound route through downtown Columbus. From Front & Nationwide the bus will continue south on Front Street, make a left on Long Street, and continue along the existing route. The southbound Late Night & Sunday lineup location will move to Stop ID # 4157 W Long St & N High St. No changes will be made to the northbound Line 8 route through downtown Columbus.

9 W Mound/Brentnell
The Line 9 will use a new route through downtown Columbus. Service will move to Long and Spring Street between N Front St and I-71. Service will be suspended on Nationwide, Mt Vernon, and Naghten.
In the northbound direction, Line 9 will enter downtown Columbus on Main Street, turn left on Front Street, right on Long Street, and then continue on Long Street to exit downtown. The new northbound Late Night & Sunday Line-up location will be Stop ID 4157 W Long Street & N High Street.
In the southbound direction, Line 9 will enter downtown Columbus on Spring Street, continue straight on Spring Street, then turn left on Front Street to continue along the existing route. A new southbound stop will be added at Stop ID 8215 N Front Street & W Long Street. This stop will be the new southbound Late Night & Sunday Line-up Location.

10 W Broad/ E Broad
Westbound late night lineup alignment change will serve new location at SID #8215 N Front St & W Long St.
Eastbound late night lineup alignment change will serve a new location within the Spring St Terminal, Bay 4.

11 Bryden/Maize
Line 11 will use a new southbound route through downtown Columbus. After entering downtown on Spring Street the bus will turn left on Front Street to continue along the existing route. Buses will no longer use Marconi Blvd. Stop 7534 on Marconi and Long will close. A new stop SID 8215 N Front St & W Long St will be added, which will also serve as the new southbound late night lineup location. No changes will be made to the northbound Line 11.
Service will return to regular route on Hudson St. Detour service on Weber Rd will end. Due to construction on Weber Rd, COTA must return to using Hudson St before January 2025. Line 11 will begin using Hudson St on Monday December 16, 2024.

31 Hudson
Service will return to regular route on Hudson St. Detour service on Weber Rd will end. Due to construction on Weber Rd, COTA must return to using Hudson St before January 2025. Line 11 will begin using Hudson St on Monday December 16, 2024.
