Summer with Cota: Take COTA to Stonewall Columbus Festival and March; Reroutes Announced for Parade
The Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) is preparing to provide daily service for thousands attending the Stonewall Columbus Pride Festival and March events, June 16-18.
Participants can explore the best transit routes to get to the festivities at COTA.com or plan their trip on the Transit app. COTA’s hours of operations are 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. with final downtown lineup each night at 10 p.m. Fare is only $2 per adult, $1 per child under 12 and children under age 5 ride at no charge. Customers can pay using COTA’s digital fare payment system, through the Transit app or COTA Smart Card. Customers can also pay cash on board.
Reroute Information
On Saturday, June 17, the Stonewall Columbus Pride March steps off at 10:30 a.m. downtown and travels up North High Street through the Short North. COTA Lines 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 102, CMAX and Zoo Bus will be rerouted beginning at 8:30 a.m. and continuing through the end of the march. Transit stops will not be serviced during the parade from the Short North to Downtown on High Street during the march.
