Summer With COTA: Take COTA To The Columbus Jazz & Rib Fest

Reroutes Planned From Friday Through Sunday

Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) is getting ready for a busy weekend as the Columbus Jazz & Rib Fest returns to the downtown area.

The 2023 Jazz & Rib Fest takes place July 21-23 along the Scioto Mile, Bicentennial Park, West Bank Park, Rich and Main Street bridges. Festival patrons can explore the best transit routes to get to the festival at COTA.com or by using the Transit app. Transit stops are located along High and Front streets throughout downtown and provide quick access to the festival.

COTA’s hours of operations are 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. with final lineup each night at 10 p.m. Fare is only $2 per adult, $1 per child under 12 and children under age 5 ride at no charge. Customers can pay using COTA’s digital fare payment system, through the Transit app or COTA Smart Card. Customers can also pay cash on board.

Festival Hours: Friday, July 21 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.; Saturday, July 22 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday, July 23 from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

COTA Reroutes Due to the Columbus Jazz & Rib Festival

COTA customers should expect reroutes from Friday, July 21 through Sunday, July 23. Transit service and stops will be impacted on Lines 3, 6 and 9.
