Why Attend COTA Public Meetings?

Public meetings provide a platform for open dialogue and exchange of ideas between COTA representatives and community members. Whether discussing fare policies, service changes or other relevant topics, these meetings offer insight into our decision-making process and allow us to gather valuable feedback from you, our customers and stakeholders.

When Do Service Changes Take Place?

These changes aim to improve travel times, enhance service reliability and accommodate evolving community needs. We value your input in shaping these improvements to ensure they align with your expectations and priorities.

Meeting Records

COTA offers a variety of meeting minutes available to the public. We also adhere to the state’s Public Records Act.

In accordance with the Ohio Revised Code, COTA deems public records as any documents, device or item, regardless of physical form or characteristic, created or received by or coming under the jurisdiction of any public office of the state or its political subdivisions, which serves to document the organization, functions, policies, decisions, procedures, operations or other activities of the office.

Anyone who requests records must identify the records requested with sufficient clarity to allow the public office to identify, retrieve and review the records. A copy of COTA’s Public Records Policy is available upon request. You may submit a request by emailing PublicRecords@cota.com or calling 614-228-1776. Visit our Codes & Policies page to learn more.
