Reroutes

There are lots of things to do in the Central Ohio region, including special events held in public spaces. When necessary, COTA will adjust service to accommodate these big events. This page will be updated as needed to provide additional information about rerouted lines, modified stop times, relocated stops, and other important details.


Reroutes

01/19 MLK Day Reroutes
Impacted Lines: Lines 7, 9, 11, 8, 101

Due to the MLK Day Parade and the Annual MLK March in Linden, several COTA routes will be rerouted on Monday, Jan. 19. Temporary reroutes will be in effect in downtown Columbus and the Linden area to support these events.

Riders should expect delays, follow posted detours, and allow extra travel time. All local COTA stops will be served along reroutes unless otherwise noted. COTA thanks customers for their patience during these community events.


Closures

12/16/2025–3/4/2026 Easton Transit Center Bay 3 Closure
Closure for Line: 24
Line 24 may still use pickups and dropoffs at Easton Transit Center during the impact at any available bay. All customers at Easton Transit Center should confirm their routes on bus headers to ensure they board their desired route.

01/14–01/16/2026 SID 1495 Temporary Stop Closure
Impacted Line: Line 4
Impacted Stop: SID 1495
Due to sidewalk-level construction, Stop 1495 at Indianola Ave & Arcadia Ave (southbound) will temporarily close beginning Wednesday, Jan. 14, through approximately Friday, Jan. 16, weather permitting. Line 4 customers should use nearby same-directional stops during the closure.
