Take COTA to the Ohio State University Buckeyes Home Opener Against the Youngstown State Penguins Saturday

The Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) is ready to help customers get to The Ohio State University home opener against the Youngstown State Penguins this Saturday at noon. COTA offers service all morning and afternoon on multiple transit lines to get fans to and from Ohio Stadium, avoid parking costs and safely get to the game.

COTA’s transit service operates every 15-30 minutes on most transit lines around Ohio Stadium. Customers can access the Ohio State University Campus by using the following lines:

COTA Fares are only $2 per adult, $1 for children under 12, and no charge for children under age 5. Ohio State students can travel on COTA at no charge using their BuckID. Discounts are available for seniors, ADA customers, veterans and qualifying individuals who receive income assistance. Customers can plan their trip using the Transit App and even purchase fares on the app. Customers can also plan their trips at COTA.com. Cash and paper passes are also accepted on all buses.

Please note because of traffic, delays are possible, but service will operate before, during and after the game on Saturday. COTA appreciates everyone’s patience as traffic is very heavy on game day.
