We’ll Bus You to the BOOM!

When you make plans to attend the annual Red, White, & BOOM! fireworks display, skip the parking fuss and ride the bus.

Instead of driving downtown, you can leave your vehicle at a Park & Ride location and take COTA downtown and back for only $5.50. (One way trips are $2.75.) You can also get in free to watch the fireworks from Huntington Park with a Park & Ride wristband, valid COTA pass or transfer ticket, valid C-pass, valid BuckID or CCAD ID.

Downtown service from select BOOM! Park & Rides runs from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Return trips begin immediately after the fireworks and continue until midnight. Our entire COTA administrative team will be on hand to help you find the bus back to your Park & Ride and Customer Service representatives will be available at 614-228-1776.

  • Columbus Museum of Art
  • COSI
  • Franklin Park Conservatory & Botanical Gardens
  • National Veterans Memorial & Museum
  • Ohio History Connection
  • Wexner Center for the Arts
  • Pizzuti Collection

A special thanks to EmpowerBus for providing free shuttle service from The Linden Transit Center to The Ohio History Connection.
